The Sacrament of Eucharist was administered to 12 children of Kirem for the first time on 1st May 2022. It was a long desire and preparation for these children and their parents.

They were prepared and trained by Srs Philomena & Renita and Parish Priest. On 1st May, the solemn mass was offered by the Parish Priest Rev Fr Oswald Monteiro along with Fr Sunil, Fr Victor DMello and Fr Prakash OFM. The Parish Priest preached a meaningful homily.

The singing during the solemn mass was done by children (Junior Choir) who were trained by Jovita Rodrigues. The first communicants are as follows: Danvit Serrao, Rinston Aroza, Leon Saldanha, Ethan Ruben DCosta, Blesson Dcosta, Shawn Hanson DSouza, Rosewin Serrao, Manoj Menezes, Mack Ralston DSouza, Josvita Theresa Pinto, Dalziel Vincent DMello and Lishen Serrao.
