March 1, 2017: In order to make the Lenten observance meaningful in the parish, the faithful of Kirem Church take the cross to every family ward-wise and reflects upon Jesus' the Way of Cross.
This devotion was inaugurated in the parish on Ash Wednesday, 01 March 2017. After the evening mass, crosses were handed over to the gurkars of all wards. The people of different wards joined their gurkars in taking the crosses to their respective wards in procession. After taking round the crosses to all the families of the wards and praying the Way of Cross daily as neighborhood community, the parishioners will return the crosses in procession to church on Good Friday.
